The Restaurant Is Taking a Break

After a full first year of dinners, the Book Village restaurant and bar are closing until further notice.

The honest truth: we loved every night of it, and so did many of you — but running a full kitchen in a small town is a heavy lift, and it needs a rethink before its next chapter. So we’re pressing pause.

The coffee shop is still pouring espresso every Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 AM to 3 PM. The bookshop is open. The inn is welcoming guests. Hobart is still the book village, and we’re still here.

To everyone who had a burger at the bar, a Malbec by the window, or a Fernet & Coke because we talked you into it — thank you. See you around the village.
